New Acquisition Highlights 2007 – 2011

This exhibition showcases many of the artworks acquired by the Bermuda National Gallery in the last four years. Central to the mission of the BNG is to build a collection of artwork that reflects Bermuda’s heritage, internationalism, and artistic progress. Communicating who we are across time is central to the collection. The BNG is indebted to the support of the many art donors and artists who have given generously while recognizing the significance of this collections’ growth. The Ondaatje Fund has supported purchases and we are grateful for this. The artwork on display has undergone a rigorous assessment process in order to ensure its relevancy to Bermuda’s diverse community.
