2012/13 Annual Appeal
The BNG’s energy comes from its patrons. Thanks to your contribution, the BNG can continue to be a place for learning and inspiring. We are proud of what we offer the community: local and international exhibitions, educational programmes for all ages, and fun events. We are grateful for your support.
Please consider making a gift today. Your gift plays a critical role in underwriting all aspects associated with the maintenance of the museum, the care of the collections, the development of exhibitions and education outreach, and general operating expenses as they arise.

Annual Appeal Categories
Exhibitions
Setting up exhibitions can be very costly. Your donation will support:
• exhibition publicity& promotion
• loan and care of artworks
• transportation
• materials &equipment
• installation costs
• printed matter like signage, catalogues & brochures
• insurance
Education
Donations made towards this category will be allocated towards the BNG Artreach Education programme. This programme includes:
• art educational activities in the Gallery
• free school tours
• Student Docent/ Museum Studies Programme
• art camps & workshops
• online educational resources
• Professional Development for Educators
Free Admission
The BNG is committed to making the Gallery accessible to everybody. With the generous support of our patrons we have been able to offer free admission for all visitors. Continued free admission is central to our BNG values.
General Operation
Making a donation towards our General Operating Costs will help cover the following:
• maintenance
• electricity
• salaries
• updating computers & software
We continue to scrutinize our operational costs in order to ensure the best financial practice.
Endowment
The endowment plays a fundamental role in securing the future of the BNG. This is a permanent fund set up to hold assets transferred from it or donated directly by donors. The BNG receives annual distributions of the income from the fund, or may allow the income to accrue to help the fund to grow.
