Photographer Amanda Temple was educated at the Tring Arts Educational School in the UK and Walnut Hill School in Boston; she earned a BFA in Photography and a BA in French from the University of South Florida, Tampa. Presently, she manages two businesses: Amanda Temple Photography, which specialises in portraits and weddings; and Eikona Gallery, an art consulting service for private and corporate clients.

Artist's statement "I have always been drawn to the ocean, adore every shade of blue and could swim before I could walk. My recent work conjures up a watery world of churning seas and swirling eddies. Each represents a sea, featuring characteristics of that region, be it the direction of the prevailing current, topography, mineral content, or historical context." |
