Artist's statement

"I continue to be fascinated with the motif of children juxtaposed with local architecture. This theme was greatly reinvigorated by a recent viewing of Edward Hopper’s artwork in New York. My series focuses on children at play, including local games from an older era.  I give glory to the great Creator – the Lord – 'in whom I live, move and have my being'.”
