Elizabeth Mulderig studied English Literature at Boston University and received her BA from the Fashion Institute of Technology, NY where she majored in commercial illustration. She has combined her talents in art and literature to become a successful writer and illustrator of children’s books, creating the Tiny, The Tree Frog and Ginger Nelly characters. The past three biennials have included large paintings of her interpretations of her favourite children’s story, Alice in Wonderland. She is based in Bermuda, as are all of her paintings. Her latest book, Do-Boy Digs Bermuda, was published in 2007.
