Miles Manders describes himself as a self-taught artist and musician.  He says: “My art started in high school at the Berkeley Institute from 1966-1971 under the watchful eye of Mr. Charles Lloyd Tucker. I am now 53 years old and have been artistically involved for the last 40 years. Most of my art has been held in private collections and has never been in an exhibition to date.” Of this, his first publicly exhibited work, he says, “This is a black and white series medium, which I have been working on for the past few years.”

Artist's statement

"My art is inspired by my dreams so I call my works DREAM_SCAPE; since all or most of my ideas stem from my dreams."
