Born in Liverpool, England and educated at Wallasey School of Art, Will Collieson’s native sense of humour is evident in many of his three-dimensional collages, made with materials found around the Island. A versatile artist, he has produced public sculptures for the Corporation of Hamilton and his Grouper has become a landmark outside the Bermuda Aquarium and Zoo (2006). He has exhibited throughout Bermuda regularly for 20 years and twice been honoured by the 3-dimensional Art Directors and Illustrators Awards.

Artist's statement

"I believe that art should raise questions and not be separate from every day life. My work is based on the conviction that art and life, although unequivocally not the same, are indivisible."
